Apple Updates MacBook Pro With Thunderbolt I/O Technology

Apple has rolled out updates to its MacBook Pro Line, which all include the new “Thunderbolt” I/O tech. The 15″ and 17″ models also now have quad-core i7 processors, and Apple released its first developer preview of Mac OS X Lion. Featuring the very latest dual-core and quad-core Intel Core processors, the entire MacBook Pro line is up to twice as fast as the previous generation.

Reviewers have come out with their mixed reactions to Apple MacBook Pro.

John Paczkowski from All Things Digital says, “The new machines aren’t cast from Liquid Metal. They don’t run on a combination drive that stores their OS on SSD and data on HDD. And they retain the same trackpad, the same aspect-ratio displays. That said, they do feature a number of evolutionary upgrades…..” more…

Jesus Diaz of  Gizmodo feels that  Apple MacBook Pro is not for most people. In his review, he says,”If you are a professional-on-the-go dealing with high definition video in Final Cut Pro, print-resolution images in Photoshop or 3D animation in Maya, Apple’s new laptops will make you very happy. But if you are just a regular user, the new MacBook Pros are not for you.” more…
