5 Tips For Successful Solo Travel

Here’s the Man Behind the Success of Your Favorite Artists

The music industry is infamously one of the hardest to break into. Countless artists, producers, managers, and musicians try and fail to break into the industry in a major way. With constantly changing digital platforms, we’re seeing new and exciting organizations dedicated to bringing value back into music for listeners.

Mark Gillespie

Mark Gillespie is the CEO and founder of Three Six Zero. Gillespie grew up with a fierce passion for music and an even greater sense of entrepreneurship. These skills combined led first to a deep involvement with the UK club scene. Originally from just outside of Birmingham, UK, his first major gig was booking the DJs at legendary club Godskitchen. Eventually this would lead him to found Three Six Zero and sign his first major client, Calvin Harris. Today, Gillespie and Three Six Zero are leading the world stage in music, film, and digital content. Gillespie has also partnered with radio DJ Pete Tong MBE to create Three Six Zero Recordings, an in-house recording studio. Partnering with Sony for distribution, they work to connect British producers and artists to American audiences. Mark Gillespie is now located in Los Angeles, where he plans to expand further on Three Six Zero and innovations in the music industry. Today, they have headquarters in Los Angeles, London and Miami to ensure Three Six Zero remains a leader of the digital content landscape. In 2021, Mark Gillespie was named one of Billboard’s Change Artists.

Three-Six-Zero

Based in the UK, their primary output consists of exposing british artists to the American music scene.

With an increasingly robust presence in the film and television industry, Three Six Zero produced the film Vox Lux, starring Natalie Portman, Jude Law and Stacy Martin. The film features an original score by Sia and songs by Scott Walker.

Calvin Harris

Calvin Harris has been making a splash since his debut record in 2007, I Created Disco. In 2009, he released his second album, Ready for the Weekend, which earned him a number one spot in the UK charts. Since signing with Mark Gillespie and Three Six Zero management, he has gone on to collaborate with pop stars such as Frank Ocean, Migos, Travis Scott, Pharell Williams, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd and many more. Most recently, he released a track with Tom Grennan titled, By Your Side.
