Pros: The software has been the most reliable we’ve used in digital signage on android. It has solved all the major pain points we’ve had from freezing wifi cards to system reboots, and even has the ability to remotely control your media player.

Cons: Every software has some limitations and we’ve found some of those limitations through our unique way of implementing the platform; however, the team at Onsign TV has been so supportive and has even developed solutions for some of our unique requests.

Overall: Reliability. Reliability. Reliability.

Pros: Super easy to use! Setup only took a few minutes and we can change content whenever we want.

We end up cranking out new graphics in photoshop every few weeks in order to advertise new custom-built bikes, seasonal items, etc. The screen also draws more people into our shop (we’re in a corner of a train station and hard to find).

Cons: Looking forward to the Apple iOS version of XOGO Manager but in the meantime Windows works just fine.

What do you like best?
The platform’s ease of use. You don’t need a manual or much help in order to get started. Their web platform is very straightforward and it works great with our tablets, Chromecast, and Kindle Fire.

What do you dislike?
We occasionally experience some lag between uploading a new image and it displaying on the screens, sometimes appearing as blank for a while before it turns up.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We wanted to automate the greeting on our reception TV based on the time of the day which was previously manually switched.

Additionally, we wanted our tablets in the communal areas to promote upcoming events and initiatives.

The app greatly reduced the time required to implement it through the cloud (we were previously manually sending it to the screens and having to go to the screens to display them).

Pros: The software is easy and intuitive. Good interface.

Cons: Can only create groups of signs that are the same size, cannot create groups with different size signs. The calendar is a little tricky and not as easy as others I have used.

Overall: The support staff is great, but when they shifted from Cirrus to Screen Hub, they now make the customer leave a message for a callback and sometimes it’s days.

When screen hub took over the support response has gotten a lot worse. The support staff is still great though when they get to you.

Pros: The best thing about Embedded Signage is how easy the platform is to use and figure out. We have multiple output services and we find it very easy to switch between sources to manage. It also has great features and widgets that allow us to fill voids with intriguing content when required.

Cons: Honestly there really isn’t much that we dislike about EmbeddedSignage. It would be great to have an app available so we could manage it from our mobile devices, but this may or may not be something already in the works.

Overall: We have many benefits from this program but most important would my time management. It allows us to quickly do updates and manage our media sources, freeing up valuable time to focus on other ventures.

The team is fantastic. They worked hard at scope completion and then some. We needed to add features to our vision that they hadn’t already incorporated into previous products and it wasn’t an issue at all for them.

Great service and they make themselves available. Will certainly recommend to my colleagues.
