Social media plays a significant role in the education system, with many schools and universities are increasingly adopting the use of social media tools, especially social learning tools, in the classroom.

In my recently concluded workshop, I tried to resolve the query ” Can Social media actually help our education system or is it just a hype?“

What we feel at WITS Zen that if managed correctly, social media channels can do wonders  for students. If not, then the  poor  implementation of social media channels  can be detrimental to student satisfaction and engagement rates.

So, the Bottom line:  Implement Social Media Channels and Social Learning Tools properly, or don’t do it at all.
